I want to travel with my children. What discounts can I use?
FIP Cards can usually also be issued for your own children. More information can be found under FIP Application. The rules for the various discount options can be found on the operator pages. However, the FIP Discount applies to adult fares and not to children’s fares. As a result, FIP-discounted tickets cost the same for children as for adults. Because of this, using publicly available fares may be cheaper, especially for children, and should be checked in advance depending on the country.
In addition to the age limits on the respective operator pages, the website Seat61 also provides a good overview of age limits, see Seat61 - Travel with children.
